This group show of process artists who have been in residence for its duration features works by The Walk Exchange, Andy Monk, Jenny Marketov, Brolab and (pictured) Berlin-based artist Claudia Chaseling whose stunning wall/floor painting, “the time machine,” uses egg tempera and (on the canvas element to the right of the installation) ink and oil paint. Her imagery derives from free associative drawings made on postcards of cities to which she has traveled.  The Bogart Salon is part of the thriving complex of studios and galleries that also houses such Bushwick fixtures as NurtureArt, Momenta Art, Interstate Projects, Studio 10 and Slag (recently relocated from Chelsea) where Chaseling is to be featured in a solo exhibition in July.
