Jude Broughan: Certain Lights
One of the great things about living in the twenty-first century is the access that artists have to imagery, new materials, and techniques. When they don’t try to substitute these newly available resources for actual content, artists can be inventive and get into the nitty gritty of how we experience this new world and its promises. Broughan is one of those that is trying to use new abilities to examine the world, with collaged inkjet prints that look something like LCD screens made by Clyfford Still and his contemporaries. Through July 18.
