Katherine Bradford: Small Ships
Katherine Bradford’s recurring ocean liner ship motif speaks to Romance on the high seas and the endless luxury of visual experience. Her ships, like her airplanes, are comically chunky, and are more like vessels-of-feeling than sea-worthy-vessels. In her latest exhibition at Steven Harvey Fine Art Projects she will show her ship sculptures for the first time in tandem with works on paper and oil paintings.
Katerine Bradford: Small Ships opens Sunday, September 8 and will be on view at Steven Harvey Fine Art Projects until October 13, 2013. The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12 to 6pm.
