But Rosler’s unsubtle equation of power and fashion seems, in its way, as self-indulgent on the artist’s part as that of the decadent America of her indignation. 

Equally as heavy handed as the luxury=violence visual rhetoric in Rosler is the self-congratulatory parade of highbrow, politically right-on reading materials that forms the theory-as-décor finale of this exhibition
